Congratulations on your excellent website. It brings back good memories of a visit to the museum 15 years ago. I am now studying human evolution and particularly what artefacts such as stone tools can tell us about this subject, so your site is useful for my research. A question: is it possible to buy a reproduction of the Venus von Willendorf from the museum shop? (I already have the postcard, but would like an actual copy of the real thing!). Season's greetings.

Looking for information on German roots from early 1700s and before. I have found direct descendant, Johan Adam Stadler immigrating approx. 1730 into port of Philadelpia PA. I am interested in tracing further to German cities, as I have no idea where Johan and his family were from. Family lore is that it was Bavaria and maybe Switzerland before that. Thanks.
